Fun at the Park

Patrick and I went to the park today while Aaron was in class for sniper school. I forgot how much Patrick just likes to run around. The grass at the park is nice and green and there are dandelions popping up everywhere. Patrick ran all over the playground, then chased a robin, and then ran all the way to the splash pad. Splash Pad is a water park that has little fixtures that spray water all over. It opens Memorial Day weekend and we are so excited to take Patrick to play there. We missed it last year because it closed Labor Day weekend, and we were only here for a couple of weeks before it closed. It'll be more fun for him now though, since he can walk and run. Below is a video of Patrick on his favorite part of the playground: the drawbridge. I love his jibber jabber!

Patrick's Newest Skill

Guess what Daddy taught Patrick to do? He can now do push-ups. Aaron was doing some push-ups in the living room and Patrick, being the little mimic he is these days, imitated him. Got a quick little video and thought I'd share it.

The "No" Face

This is the face that Patrick gives us whenever we tell him "NO!"... you can imagine how hard it is for us to keep a straight face for longer than 5 seconds. He knows he's cute and we can't do a thing about it!

Happy First Birthday to Patrick!

The time has come and our little boy is finally a year old. I can't believe it! Below are some videos we took of him eating his piece of cake. We wanted to give him a whole one, but the only "small" cakes I could find were for 8 people. Plus, the way he destroyed the one piece, I'm STILL finding crumbs all over the house!
